A crown caps a damaged tooth entirely, restoring its shape and strength when a filling alone isn't enough to hold it together. Where a crown saves a single struggling tooth, a bridge fills the space left by a missing one, using neighboring teeth as anchors. Both are custom-fabricated to match your bite and the shade of your surrounding teeth.
Some partner offices can design, mill, and place a crown in one visit instead of the traditional two-visit process involving a temporary crown. Bridges typically still require two to three visits: preparing the anchor teeth, taking impressions, and fitting the final piece.
Treatment order matters here — a crown placed over an unresolved cavity or an unhealthy gumline won't hold up as well long-term. That's why a full exam and any necessary cleanup happens before impressions are taken for the final restoration.
Skip the temporary-crown wait at participating locations with same-day milling equipment.
Crown material is chosen based on tooth location, bite force, and cosmetic priority.
Digital scans capture your exact bite alignment so the crown or bridge fits without adjustment.
Traditional bridges use your existing healthy teeth as anchors, avoiding implant surgery when appropriate.
Our network specialists cover the full range of this procedure, from the routine case to the complicated one.

If anchor teeth aren't strong enough, an implant-supported option may be recommended instead.
Shade and shape are matched to your surrounding teeth during the fabrication process.
